This piece is made from white porcelain, thrown on the potter’s wheel. Porcelain ‘twigs’ have been hand-modelled and attached to the rim of the vessel. In firing, the twigs become fused to the pot and gently hug the rim. The piece is left unglazed, giving it a soft matt surface.
